Team Liquid became the first team to secure a playoff slot at VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2 after defeating Apeks , while Karmine Corp beat MKOI to claim their second victory in the group stage.

The first match of the day — Team Liquid vs Apeks — which was expected to be an easy win, turned into a close call for Apeks in their pursuit of a first Tier-1 victory. However, Team Liquid managed to regroup and win the series 2:1 (Ascent 14:12, Corrode 11:13, Lotus 13:6).

MKOI vs Karmine Corp
MKOI attempted to secure their first group stage win, but Karmine Corp proved stronger and took the series 2:1 (Lotus 9:13, Sunset 13:2, 13:4). For KC, this marked their second victory in the Omega group, while MKOI suffered their third loss out of three matches. 

VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2 runs from July 16 to September 1. The tournament features 12 teams competing for 2 spots at VALORANT Champions 2025 and a $250,000 prize pool.
