New server in Manila
An important announcement appeared on the official Valorant website tonight. In it, Riot representatives announced that in the near future, in patch 11.04, which is tentatively scheduled for release on August 19, 2025, a new game server will begin operating, located in Manila.
The Manila server will be the sixth server available in the Asia-Pacific region, and we hope it will provide better connectivity and gaming experience for our players. Over the past 5 years, our community in Southeast Asia, especially in the Philippines, has grown significantly. We are grateful for this incredible passion and want to make sure we support our players properly!
The company also stated that players from the Philippines currently play on the Hong Kong server, and when the server in the Philippines opens, players fear that there will not be enough players in Hong Kong and that matches will take a long time to find. In turn, the company reassured the community and stated that the number of players is large enough, so there is no need to worry.
We understand that players may have certain concerns about how the new game server will affect the existing server in Hong Kong. But don't worry! There are enough players in the Asia-Pacific region. This means that even if Filipino players switch to the server in Manila, the quality of player matching on the Hong Kong server will remain stable.
The new Valorant servers are designed to ensure that players from nearby regions do not experience ping and lag issues and can enjoy a smooth gaming experience. Although the exact number is unknown, Valorant currently has approximately 30 servers worldwide, and the new center in Manila will only increase that number.
