The final matches of VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 2 will begin this weekend and will be held in Tokyo. Because of this, some teams have had visa issues, but this does not apply to the first participant in the grand final, Paper Rex , which has already arrived in Tokyo with its full roster.

What is the problem?
As a reminder, this year's third and final qualifying tournament, VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 2, is split across three venues. The group stage and part of the playoffs are taking place at two locations, Sangam Colosseum and Inspire Arena. Meanwhile, the final weekend, during which the lower bracket final and grand final will be played, will take place at LaLa Arena Tokyo Bay.

The last weekend is where the problem lies, as not all players can obtain a visa to Japan. The Indonesian team Rex Regum Qeon will most likely play with substitutes, as some of the main roster members cannot obtain a visa.
