DRX suffer defeat to Fnatic and drop to the lower bracket at VALORANT Champions 2025

Fnatic  defeated  DRX  in the VALORANT Champions 2025 playoffs with a score of 2:1 (Haven 13:11, Ascent 8:13, Lotus 13:5) to advance to the upper bracket semifinals, while DRX fell to the lower bracket.

The best player of the match was Emir "Alfajer" Beder, who recorded 64 kills and 37 deaths. His average ADR was 190, while his ACS reached an impressive 278 — especially notable given his passive role as an Sentinels . 

Fnatic claimed victory in their playoff debut and moved on to the second round of VALORANT Champions 2025 againts  Paper Rex , while DRX , after the loss, lost their margin for error and will play an elimination match on September 27.

VALORANT Champions 2025 is taking place from September 12 to October 5 in France . The event features 16 teams competing for a prize pool of $2,250,000.
