mou on PGL Astana 2025: "This is incredibly important for us, especially at home"

HOTU under the guidance of former well-known player Rustem "mou" Telepov is preparing for their first major tournament – PGL Astana 2025. They qualified through the Asian region and are now performing in front of their home crowd in Kazakhstan . The coach shared his emotions, preparation approach, and expectations for the performance.

Team History and Importance of the Tournament
HOTU is a young team just beginning their journey on the major esports stage. After qualifying through the Asian region, they found themselves among the participants of PGL Astana 2025. Coach mou emphasized that the home tournament has become a powerful motivator for the entire team.

It yeah for me it's like much important you know yeah like to be in hometown and if you qualify to playoffs ohh maybe if you could somehow, it's gonna be like so high and so loud our crowd gonna be like so happy you know.

Preparation for the Tournament
HOTU 's path to PGL Astana 2025 was not easy, but the team was inspired by the opportunity to play in front of a home audience. Under mou's leadership, the team underwent two months of intensive training and opponent analysis.

We focused like 2 months to practice a lot and ready for all teams because we analyse all Asian region and it was like, we was strong team on this because like we focus on this tournament and we analyse all that's why.

One of the key changes in the lineup was the arrival of a new captain, dukefissura . This allowed the team to improve results and achieve qualification.

I always have only four players to tell them how to how to play, how we need to learn. But right now we have dukefissura and for me it's like it's good because I have 4 players and it's much important for last time, were no captain.

Goals for the Tournament
Despite high expectations for the team, HOTU approaches the tournament with a clear understanding of their objectives. It's important for the team not only to show results but also to gain experience that will help in future competitions.

That's our goal. We just play play game by game. Yeah, for us it's a new experience, skills and we don't have a goal like goal to playoff. We just play just game.
