The Fnatic team won its first lan trophy in Counter-Strike 2 ( CS2 ) in three years, winning Conquest of Prague 2025, which ended on June 1, 2025. This victory was a significant step for the organization, which last won a title at Elisa Masters Espoo 2022. In the grand final, Fnatic defeated ENCE 2-1, earning 98 VRS points and climbing to 31st place in the global rankings.
Details of the victory and the road to the title
Fnatic won two consecutive series on Sunday, June 1, to lift the trophy. In the decisive grand final match against ENCE , the team managed to come back from behind, trailing on the Mirage map (8:4), but lost the map point and ended the game in overtime. However, Fnatic did not lose heart and won the next two maps with a score of 13:8, with Benjamin “blameF” Bremer and Matúš “MATYS” Šimko leading the way. This victory was the team's first lan trophy since Elisa Masters Espoo 2022, where the lineup was completely different.
The road to the title and the updated lineup
According to the online stage playoffs, Fnatic started with a victory over 9INE (2:0) on May 30, then defeated ENCE (2:0) on May 31 in the upper bracket semifinals, but lost to ENCE (2:0) in the upper bracket finals. In the lower bracket, they defeated 9INE (2:0) on June 1 and returned to the grand final, where they took revenge on ENCE (2:1). This title became especially important after their unsuccessful performance in the BLAST.tv Austin Major qualifiers.
This year, Fnatic made significant investments in the roster by signing the Passion UA duo — Dmytro “jambo” Semera and Rodion “fear” Smyk. AWPer fear, who became the most expensive transfer in the organization's history, won his first title as team captain. His leadership helped Fnatic get closer to the top 30 in the VRS, although they are still far from the leaders.
Congratz to the players and staff of Fnatic who secured our first lan win since...a very long time (924 days or so). A step in the right direction, but certainly quite a journey ahead to garner enough ranking points to compete vs. the top — which very much remains our goal in 2025.

The victory was a morale boost for Fnatic after their failure to qualify for the Austin Major. The team entered the grand final with a desire for revenge after three consecutive defeats to ENCE , led by Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander. This title confirmed the potential of the new lineup and laid the foundation for further ambitions in 2025.
