The BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 tournament is entering its decisive phase. The fourth round of Stage 2 matches are scheduled for June 9, which will seriously affect the fate of the teams: some will get a chance to compete for the playoffs, while others will find themselves on the verge of elimination or will leave the tournament altogether.

Teams with a 2-1 record will play a series of best-of-3 matches for the right to advance to the next stage. Meanwhile, teams with a 1-2 record will also compete in a bo3 format, but for them, defeat will mean elimination from the tournament. At the same time, the 1–1 bracket will feature bo1 matches that will determine the teams' chances of advancing.

This round is crucial: the winners of the 2–1 series guarantee themselves a place in the third stage, while the losers end up in the losers' bracket and will play decisive matches with no room for error. As for the 1–2 pairs, each defeat means elimination.

As a reminder, Stage 2 is being held in a Swiss system format from June 7 to 10. Teams that win three matches advance, while those that suffer three defeats are eliminated. After the second stage, the eight best teams will advance to the third stage.
