Shortly after lifting the BLAST London Open trophy after a thrilling five-map battle against Vitality , the tournament's Most Valuable Player (MVP) HeavyGod spoke with HLTV about the dual achievement.

The Israeli player was extremely grateful for his first major tournament title and first MVP medal, and he particularly praised the entire team, especially huNter- and SAW , who kept the team calm in the tense final moments.

HeavyGod said, "This was a crazy BO5. I was impressed by the level of our team. It was incredible. huNter-'s command, everyone's support, I am very grateful to my team, coach and all the staff for everything they have done for us."

"huNter-'s experience is very useful. SAW 's timeout gave us a big push both psychologically and tactically. He is helping us push our limits."

Talking about his first MVP medal, he said: "My potential is unlimited. I hope to make bigger waves on the court. I will go all out and give my best effort."

Q: This is your first MVP, how does it feel?

A: It was crazy, I can't even put it into words. I cherish this moment so much.

Q: We also won the trophy. How surprised were you to get this victory?

A: This was an insane best-of-five match. Vitality played tenaciously, and we gave it our all. I was so impressed with the level of our team; it was incredible. huNter-'s leadership, everyone's support, and I'm so grateful to my team, coaches, and the entire staff for everything they've done for us.

Q: How did you manage to win the game? This was your first time participating in an offline arena event as a team. Was it SAW 's suspension, huNter-'s experience, or was there something else that pushed you to victory?

A: It's a bit of both. huNter-'s experience was instrumental on this map, and SAW 's pause really pushed us mentally and tactically. He pushed us to our limits. He changed us. He's an amazing person, really likable.

Q: Two days ago you told me that you wanted to become a perfect player. How big of a step is your personal achievement in this tournament?

Wow. Obviously, this is my first MVP award, and it's also my first trophy. My potential is limitless. I'm so grateful once again. I hope to make even bigger waves on the court, and I'll give it my all and give it my best effort. I also want to thank everyone around me once again.
