Falcons defeated Vitality with a score of 2:1 in the third-place match at the Esports World Cup 2025, securing a podium finish in the tournament. The team showed confident play on their map picks and completely dominated the decisive map.

Match Progress
The first map, Inferno, chosen by Vitality , was a hard-fought battle. Despite Falcons leading after the first half (8:4), Vitality managed to turn the game around and closed the map with a score of 13:9. On Train, Falcons ' pick, the scenario changed entirely. Vitality couldn't put up resistance and fell 3:13. Falcons played confidently on the attack (9:3) and cruised to an easy victory. The decisive map Nuke also went under Falcons ' control. Vitality once again only managed to secure three rounds, and the match concluded with a resounding 3:13, giving Falcons a 2:1 series victory.

The best player of the match was Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov, who finished the series with 54 kills and 25 deaths, ADR 96. His aggressive and consistent play allowed Falcons to control key rounds on Train and Nuke. 

Thanks to their victory, Falcons secured third place, taking home $130,000 in prize money. Vitality , after the defeat, finished in fourth place and received $70,000.

The Esports World Cup 2025 takes place from August 20 to 24 in Riyadh, at the Boulevard Riyadh City arena. Sixteen top teams are competing for a prize pool of $1,250,000.
