In Group A of the BLAST Open Fall 2025: Closed Qualifier, the first two elimination matches have taken place. ECSTATIC and  Virtus.pro , who suffered defeats, exit the tournament in 13th–16th places, each taking home $5,000 in prize money.  Fnatic  and  M80  still have a chance to advance to the main stage and will play their next matches in the lower bracket tomorrow.
 Fnatic  vs ECSTATIC
The showdown began on  Ancient , where ECSTATIC managed to take the starting half in their favor (8:4). However, after the side switch,  Fnatic  completely turned the game around. Thanks to their precise defensive work, they won nine out of ten rounds and closed the map with a score of 13:8.
On the second map, Mirage, ECSTATIC again started strong and won the first half (7:5). But once again, after the side switch, the initiative was entirely in  Fnatic 's hands. Their defense looked flawless—8:0 in the second half and a 13:7 victory, securing the series 2:0.

The standout player was  CYPHER , who delivered one of the best matches of the season. His stats: 49-23-13, +26 KDA, 122 ADR, 9:4 in duels, 12 multi-kills, and 2 clutches. This form allowed  Fnatic  to confidently defeat their opponent. 
The defeat was fatal for ECSTATIC—the team ends the tournament in 13th–16th place and earned $5,000. Meanwhile,  Fnatic  will play against the loser of the match between  Vitality  and  GamerLegion .
 M80  vs  Virtus.pro 
 M80  secured a victory over  Virtus.pro  with a score of 2:1 in the lower bracket of Group A at BLAST Open Fall 2025.  Virtus.pro  confidently started the series on Overpass (13:4), but  M80  quickly restored balance on Dust2 (13:6), then sealed the deal on Mirage (13:9).
The MVP of the match was Mason "Lake" Sanderson. He finished the series with 52 kills and 44 deaths, along with 102 ADR.
Thus,  Fnatic  and  M80  continue their run in the lower bracket of Group A, where they will face teams that lose in the  Vitality  vs  GamerLegion  and NAVI vs FaZe matchups. Fans can look forward to even more intense matches ahead, as only the strongest will make it to the main stage of BLAST Open Fall 2025.
Remember, only the top six teams will earn the right to compete in the main stage of BLAST Open Fall 2025, which will take place from September 5 to 8 with a prize pool of $330,000.
