brnS to Replace kl1m at PGL Masters Bucharest 2025

Time: 2025-10-22 19:00 (UTC)

The Brazilian team  MIBR  experienced a roster setback before the start of PGL Masters Bucharest 2025.

The organization confirmed that Russian sniper Klimentiy “kl1m” Krivosheev will not be able to join the lineup due to visa issues. His spot will be temporarily filled by Bruno “brnS” de Araújo from the MIBR academy.

Due to visa issues, player kl1m will not play at PGL Masters Bucharest 2025. We have decided to promote the MIBR academy player, brnS, to the main roster for the duration of the tournament.

Stated in the club's announcement for Dust2 Brasil

Visa Issues for Russian Players

The difficulties arose because of Romania's entry into the Schengen Area at the beginning of 2025. As a result, players from Russia are increasingly facing challenges in obtaining visas for European tournaments. Similar incidents have occurred before: Virtus.pro couldn't participate in ESL Pro League Season 22, and BetBoom had to miss IEM Cologne 2024 for the same reason.
