Gaimin Gladiators midplayer Quinn “ Quinn ” Callahan mentioned that Melchior “ Seleri ” Hillenkamp would not be returning to the roster, and further seemed to also thank the former team captain for their time together.

Quinn posted this on his X (formerly Twitter) profile.

“I definitely enjoyed as well as benefited from playing alongside Seleri . He is a fantastic person and a great teammate. I completely support him taking the break he has opted for. Self-care has to be the first priority for anyone suffering with mental health issues, and Dota is such a fast paced, ruthless game that is tiring to play"

Quinn recalls that it was an honor to play with Seleri , as well as confirms that he appreciates the decision to step away from the Dota 2 professional scene. It goes without saying that Seleri may not be returning to the organization, at least not as soon as the team had hoped.

Whether Seleri ’s break will be short or long term remains to be seen. It is also possible that his return will hinge on some factors, such as the team's performance without him.

Earlier Gaimin Gladiators indicated Seleri ’s move to inactivity and replacement within the lineup was much more complex than previously presented.
