Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, manager of Team Spirit , said that he would only give invites to six teams at The International 2025 - and Team Tidebound and Gaimin Gladiators were not among them.

He revealed this during a stream on twitch .

“Who do you give the invites to? Well, obviously, whoever won the tournament, that's who you give the invites to. Here you go. Tundra Esports , Team Spirit , Team Falcons , BetBoom Team , PARIVISION , Team Liquid - that's it. Six invites are gone”

Korb3n emphasized that he would not increase the number of invites to eight, but would leave everything as it was last year. He would also focus on teams with tournament wins and pick the six most deserving.
