Shopify Rebellion announced the disbandment of their current Dota 2 roster on their social media page on X. All players have left the club and are now free agents. The decision was made following the conclusion of the summer competitive cycle, during which the team failed to qualify for The International 2025.

The final roster included Timado , Yopaj , Davai Lama , Hellscream , and skem&friends . The team secured second place in the North American qualifiers for TI, losing in the grand final, and did not advance to the tournament. Additionally, Rebellion was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs at the Esports World Cup 2025 and previously finished 5th–6th at FISSURE Universe.

An official statement from the organization noted that the decision was not easy:

They gave everything to this project. Despite the energy and passion invested in Dota, we did not reach the level we set for ourselves.

Shopify Rebellion has been competing in the discipline since 2022. While the organization is pausing its participation in Dota 2, the former players may continue their careers with other teams.
