In the first game, BOOM Esports started strong, and DarkMago's Ember Spirit took advantage of the opponent's irrational 4-for-3 exchange at 10 minutes, gaining a significant advantage in the mid lane, and the Ember Spirit led the team to kill all over the map. VS struggled against the enemy's front line heroes and the Warlock, losing the first game.
In the second game, BOOM Esports lost their momentum in the mid game due to continuous deaths of the Night Stalker, and were steadily pushed by the Shadow Fiend and Centaur Warrunner. The Troll Warlord was unable to do much against the Windranger's constant harassment, and after multiple deaths, the Troll Warlord called GG.
In the third game, BOOM Esports' lineup was completely countered. Every time Puck tried to initiate, Treant Protector instantly interrupted it, and Medusa couldn't deal any damage to the Sven with Crimson Guard and was harassed by the Ember Spirit and Nyx Assassin. After being team wiped near the fountain, they called GG.
In the end, BOOM Esports sadly bid farewell to this TI. They fought their way through the losers' bracket, reaching the losers' finals, but ultimately fell due to their own draft.
beastcoast, on the other hand, secured the second ticket to TI13 main event in the South America Qualifiers with this victory, and will join Heroic in Copenhagen.
