Recently, the esports club BRION announced their split with Edgar, which we covered in our separate article. The management quickly found a replacement — the new head coach of the team is the former top laner and 2016 and 2018 League of Legends World Champion, Lee "Duke" Ho-seong.
The former player of SK Telecom T1 and Invictus Gaming tried his hand at coaching for the first time in 2023, leading Ninjas in Pyjamas in the LPL . However, his first experience was short-lived: Duke worked with the club for only four months. Under his guidance, the team finished the split in 13th place, failing to reach the playoffs.
Now Duke will get a second chance to prove himself in this new role — this time with BRION. His first tournament as head coach will be the matches of the third to fifth rounds of the LCK 2025 Season.
