The Koreans claimed two convincing victories — 28:10 on the first map and 18:7 on the second, wrapping up the series in 1 hour and 2 minutes. KT demonstrated excellent macro play, dominating battles and controlling all key objectives on the map. Top Esports , on the other hand, failed to execute their draft and had almost no room for a comeback.

The MVP of the series was  deokdam , who once again confirmed his status as the main star of KT Rolster . Over the two matches, he posted average stats of 4.4/1.6/6.5, dealt 11.8K damage, earned 8.6K gold, and participated in more than a third of all team kills (35.5% KP).

Thanks to this victory, KT Rolster completed the Swiss stage with a 3–0 record and was the first to advance to the playoffs of Worlds 2025. In the next stage, KT will play in the quarterfinals, with their opponent to be determined by the results of the remaining Swiss Stage matches. For Top Esports , the defeat was their first in the tournament — the team now has a 2–1 record and will get a second chance to reach the playoffs in the fourth round.

Worlds 2025 is taking place from October 14 to November 9 in China , with the tournament hosted in Beijing, Shanghai , and Shenzhen. Teams from around the world are competing for a prize pool of $5 million and the title of League of Legends World Champion.
