Team Liquid has officially moved Maximilian "kamyk" Jan Rychlewski to the bench. This information was released on the organization's social media.
In a video posted on Liquid's page, it was announced that a suitable replacement player has already been found and is training with the team. At the time of publication, kamyk's official replacement had not been announced.
kamyk joined Liquid before the 2025 season. In January of this year, the team successfully qualified for the VCT 2025: Masters Bangkok, defeating Team Heretics with a score of 3:0 in the lower bracket final of the VCT 2025: EMEA Kickoff. At the Masters Bangkok itself, Liquid was one step away from the playoffs, finishing in 5th–6th place after losing to G2 Esports with a score of 0:2. According to rumors, kamyk might be replaced by Michaels "Serial" Zhdanov, who is currently a player for HGE Esports.
Liquid's next match will take place on March 28. The team will face Gentle Mates as part of the VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 1, which runs from March 26 to May 18. During the event, 12 participating teams will compete for three slots at the VCT 2025: Masters Toronto , as well as 11 EMEA ranking points. More information about the event can be found here.
