The regular season in the Chinese region continues, and today the regular meetings of the VALORANT China Evolution Series Act 2 took place. After four matches, it became known which teams left the tournament, and below we will tell you about the current situation.

EDward Gaming vs. FunPlus Phoenix
In the first match, we were waiting for the fight between the favorites and reigning world champions EDward Gaming and FunPlus Phoenix , and it ended accordingly. EDward took two maps, albeit not without a struggle, and thus got closer to the invitation to EWC 2025.

Trace Esports vs. Nova Esports
In the second match, there was a more intense battle between Trace Esports and Nova Esports and it lasted for 3 maps. Nova won Haven 13:11 while Trace won Sunset 13:7. The outcome of the match was decided on Split, where Trace easily eliminated their opponents from the tournament with 13:5.

Dragon Rangers Gaming vs. TEC
The third match brought us an easy 2:0 victory for TEC over Dragon Rangers Gaming, which is quite surprising considering DRG's past results, including the 4th place at VCT 2025: China Kickoff. Nevertheless, the team lost and left the tournament, losing the chance to compete for a slot at EWC 2025.

TYLOO vs. Wolves Esports
The last match also featured a tense battle between TYLOO and Wolves. The teams exchanged maps and none of them planned to give up. The outcome of the match was determined on Pearl, where Wolves eventually won with a score of 13:10 and became the winners of the match.

As a result of the matches, FunPlus Phoenix , Nova Esports , Dragon Rangers Gaming, and .. left the tournament. In turn, their winning opponents advanced to the next stage where they will play matches for prizes tomorrow.

The VALORANT China Evolution Series Act 2 takes place from 8 to 12 in Shanghai at VCT CN Arena. 12 partner teams from the Chinese region are competing for 2 invitations to the Esports World Cup 2025, as well as EVO Points needed to advance during the regular season.
