TALON faced off against Paper Rex in the upper bracket of the playoffs at the VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 2 tournament. The series concluded with a 2:0 victory for PRX. The team secured wins on Haven (13:11) and Bind (13:7), earning their spot in the grand final.

The standout player of the match was Ilya “something” Petrov. His average ACS was 282, which is 17.6% higher than his average over the past six months.

Thanks to their victory, Paper Rex advanced to the grand final of the tournament, where their opponent will be determined later. Talon Esports will continue to fight in the lower bracket playoffs for a spot in the grand final.

VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 2 is taking place from July 15 to August 31 in South Korea. The event features 12 teams competing for a prize pool of $250,000 and two slots at the VALORANT Champions 2025.
