What Riot representatives said

Daniel Ringland, head of VALORANT esports in the EMEA region, explained that the company is currently taking a wait-and-see approach. Riot always focuses on player feedback: this is how VALORANT developed on PC, when it all started with small tournaments in the IGNITION Series, which grew into large-scale championships.

We are taking the first steps, listening to what the fans are saying, and if there is sufficient demand for esports events for the mobile version, we will definitely consider this direction. Our philosophy is to closely monitor the community's reaction and gradually scale the format.

Daniel also emphasized that feedback from the community is of primary importance, and therefore, if there are enough players who support such events, Riot Games will try to create the conditions for them.

It should be noted that Valorant Mobile is currently only officially available in China, and the global release is scheduled for the end of 2025. Therefore, there will definitely be no official Valorant Mobile tournaments before that date.
