On the second day of the fourth week of the group stage of VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2, two matches took place. Team Heretics defeated FUT Esports with a score of 2-0, while KOI overcame Apeks in a tight series with a score of 2-1. As Heretics aim for an undefeated performance in the group stage, Apeks exits the VCT League entirely and will miss VCT 2026.
FUT Esports vs. Team Heretics
The opening match of the day featured FUT Esports against Team Heretics in Group Alpha. The Heretics lineup proved stronger, winning the series 2-0. On the first map, Haven, they defeated their opponent 13-6, and secured victory on the second map, Bind, with a score of 13-7.
The best player of the match was Doan “xeus” Gözgen. His average ACS was 276, which is 17% higher than his average over the last six months.
KOI vs. Apeks
In the second match of the day, KOI faced Apeks in Group Omega. The Apeks lineup started the series with a win on the Lotus map (13-9), but then fell on Ascent (4-13) and Haven (8-13). The final victory went to KOI — 2-1 in maps.
The MVP of the match was David “Filu” Charnecki, who scored 263 ACS, 23% above his average over the past six months.
