The Valorant anti-cheat team is testing a new type of cheat

Time: 2025-08-15 08:30 (UTC)

A few days ago, information appeared online about a new type of cheat for CS2, which was invented by the well-known content creator Basically Homeless. Immediately after that, the official Riot Games channel shared an image showing Vanguard anti-cheat employees testing the new software themselves.

What is known about the new cheat
Well-known content creator Basically Homeless, who has over 2 million subscribers on YouTube, published an interesting video on August 11. In it, he presented a new type of cheat for CS 2, which is based on an electrical impulse.

The cheat works as follows: The You Only Look Once program identifies a specific object on the screen, in this case an enemy character in CS2, and sends an electrical impulse to the hand via connected sensors. After that, the muscles contract, and the player moves the mouse in the corresponding direction.

Riot's reaction
Of course, this type of cheat is completely impractical and was created mostly as a joke, but even so, representatives of the anti-cheat company Vanguard decided to test the new software themselves. Today, a message appeared on the official Riot Games account with the caption “our anti-cheat team's research is getting out of control.”

In the photo, you can see how an unknown employee is possibly testing the new type of cheats from Basically Homeless, because sensors are attached to his hands. Or maybe it's just a joke, created to make fun of the new inconvenient type of software.
