The European team Apeks , which recently lost its slot in the VCT league, has begun to disband its Valorant roster. The first to leave the team was Mehmet Batu “batujnax” Özaslan, who announced this on his official social media accounts.

Mehmet Batu “batujnax” Özaslan is a 20-year-old Turkish player who began playing for Apeks in early 2025 when the team received a slot in the VCT partner league. However, during his eight months with the club, the player and the team failed to achieve any results, and today he announced his departure.

A message appeared on batujnax's official social media accounts stating that the team's management is allowing him to explore new offers. In this regard, the Turkish player is ready to become an IGL or take on any other role and is looking for new offers.

Apeks allowed me to explore new opportunities while they decided how to proceed. Many thanks to the whole team and everyone for their support. I am very motivated and looking forward to the next stage. I am open to any role and can be an IGL if necessary.

It should be noted that the organization itself has not yet commented on the player's departure, but most likely, we will find out about it in the near future.

Also, in batujnax's statement, it is important to pay attention to the phrase “ Apeks allowed me to explore new opportunities while they decided how to proceed.” This suggests that the organization does not yet know what to do with the current Valorant roster and may completely disband it.

What happened to Apeks ?
We would also like to briefly remind you that at the end of last season, Apeks became the champions of VCT Ascension EMEA 2024, which guaranteed them a slot in the VCT partner league for 2025. However, the team did not achieve anything in the following season. All important regional qualifiers ended with the team in last place:

VCT 2025: EMEA Kickoff – 9th-12th place
VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 1 – 11th-12th place
VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2 – 11th-12th place

As a result, the team failed to meet Riot's conditions for retaining their slot in the VCT, and a few weeks ago, after being eliminated from EMEA Stage 2, it became known that the team had lost its place in the league.
