Time: 2025-08-24 07:22 (UTC)

G2 Esports player Nathan "leaf" Orf announced that he has completed his treatment and will soon return to training with the team. Earlier, the player was moved to the bench due to health issues, and Andrej "babybay" Francisty took his place.

According to the player, in recent months he has been struggling with a severe flare-up of Crohn's disease, which left him with little energy and forced him to spend most of his time in the hospital. Leaf noted that the treatment has been successful and he hopes to avoid new complications for the rest of the year.

Leaf wrote on social media, thanking fans and teammates for their support, while also giving special credit to his teammates who kept up the high level of play in his absence.

hello guys!! good news I am now out of the hospital (I was in there for about 2 wks off and on) and have HOPEFULLY fixed my problems!! Not the most known info but I have had Crohns Disease and in the past month or so was suffering probably the worst flare up/symptoms since my diagnosis when I was 9–10, which led to me having little to no energy most of the days and not eating/drinking anything with insufferable pain.

Thus, at Champions 2025, leaf will return to G2 Esports ’ starting roster, which will be an important boost for the team in their title run. After Masters Toronto, the player was moved to the bench due to health issues, which caused him to miss both the Esports World Cup 2025 and VCT 2025: Americas Stage 2.
