Participant Lineup and Slot Distribution
The tournament will feature 12 teams. Eight of them received direct invitations — four of the strongest teams from previous series tournaments: BLAST Slam IV and BLAST Slam V. Three more teams will advance through regional qualifiers, and one slot is reserved for an invitee from America.

Qualifying Stages: Format and Schedule
The regional qualifiers cover Europe, Southeast Asia, and
Open Qualifiers (January 2–3, 2026):
- Two tournaments per region
- Single elimination
- BO1 in initial rounds, semifinals are BO3
- Two finalists advance to the closed qualifier
Closed Qualifiers (January 4–5, 2026):
- 8 teams in each region
- 4 from open qualifiers + 4 invites
- All matches are BO3
- The winner secures a slot in the main tournament
Additionally, one direct invite is allocated for a team from America.
Main Stage: Structure and Dates
The tournament will be divided into two stages: the first will be online, and the final matches will take place in a LAN arena with spectators.
Online Week (February 3–8):
- Group stage (BO1)
- Play-in (BO3)
- Matches are held online but broadcasted from a studio in
Malta
LAN Final (February 13–15):
- Studio format with a live audience
- Quarterfinals and semifinals are BO3
- Grand final is BO5
BLAST Slam VI continues the established format with regional qualifiers and a studio final. The series' tournaments hold a significant place in the esports calendar, offering a stable structure and high-level competition.
