Fernando "fer" Alvarenga revealed that he was close to joining the FURIA Esports lineup. The organization was in talks with him, but at the last moment, they opted to sign Mareks " YEKINDAR " Gaļinskis, whose project with s1mple and Perfecto(RUS) fell through.

Initially, YEKINDAR planned to form a new lineup featuring players from the 2021 NAVI roster. Rumors included names like Oleksandr " s1mple " Kostyliev and Illia " Perfecto(RUS) " Zalutskiy, but the project was not realized due to difficulties in finding an organization.

In light of this, FURIA Esports approached fer. According to him, he agreed to the move, and negotiations lasted nearly two weeks.
