Falcons , FaZe, aurora , and FURIA Esports One Step Away from FISSURE Playground 2 Playoffs

The third day of the FISSURE Playground 2 tournament brought significant changes to the standings. The MongolZ vs. Lynn Vision

The MongolZ defeated Lynn Vision with a score of 2:0. Dust2 ended in a tense victory at 13:11, and on Ancient , The MongolZ confidently closed it out — 13:6.

The match MVP was Garidmagnai "bLitz" Byambasuren, who showcased strong performance on both maps, finishing with a 39-30 KD ratio and 99 ADR.  

3DMAX vs. FaZe

FaZe defeated 3DMAX with a score of 2:1. The French team started with a win on Nuke (13:10), but FaZe took full control thereafter: Ancient ended 13:3, and Dust2 — 13:6.

The match MVP was Håvard "rain" Nygaard, finishing with 54 kills and 38 deaths, and an ADR of 113. 

Virtus.pro vs. Astralis

Astralis confidently handled Virtus.pro — 2:0. On Ancient , the Danes won 13:7, and on Train, they endured a tense finish and closed the map at 13:11.

The best player of the match was Victor "Staehr" Staehr, who finished with 44 kills and 103 ADR, and a rating of 7.7.  

Falcons vs. Legacy

Falcons continued their winning streak, defeating Legacy — 2:0. On Inferno, the Europeans crushed their opponents 13:4, and on Ancient , they took it to overtime and secured the map 19:16.

The MVP of the match was Nikola "NiKo" Kovač, who delivered an incredible performance, finishing with 51 kills and 36 deaths, and an ADR of 100.  

GamerLegion vs. Liquid

GamerLegion confidently overcame Liquid — 2:0. On Dust2, they left no chance for their opponent (13:1), and on Inferno, they sealed the deal — 13:6.

The best player of the match was Fredrik "REZ" Sterner, who played a fantastic match. His stats across two maps: 32-19 KD, 101 ADR, and a rating of 8.0.

aurora vs. TyLoo  

aurora secured their second consecutive victory, defeating TyLoo 2:0. On Inferno, the Chinese team put up resistance but fell short 10:13, and Mirage ended 13:11 in favor of aurora .

The match MVP was Ali "Wicadia" Haydar Yalçın, finishing with a 40-29 KD ratio and 86 ADR.  

HEROIC vs. pain

pain achieved a comeback victory over HEROIC with a score of 2:1. HEROIC started with a win on Dust2 (13:11), but pain regrouped and won Mirage (13:10), and on the decisive Nuke, they edged out their opponent in overtime — 22:20.

The match MVP was Lucas "nqz" Soares, finishing the series with a 67–52 KD and 79.3 ADR. 

FURIA Esports vs. G2

FURIA Esports confidently handled G2 — 2:0. On Inferno, FURIA Esports displayed solid defense and closed the map at 13:7, and on Overpass, they endured a tense finish and secured the match in overtime — 16:14.

The best player of the match was Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato, finishing the series with a 38–29 KD and 77.6 ADR. 

 

After the second round of the FISSURE Playground 2 group stage, four teams are one step away from the playoffs: Falcons , FaZe, FURIA Esports , and aurora . In the middle of the table with a 1-1 score are TyLoo , The MongolZ , Astralis , GamerLegion , G2, pain , Legacy , and 3DMAX .

Meanwhile, HEROIC, Lynn Vision , Liquid, and Virtus.pro are at 0-2 and now on the brink of elimination — one more loss will knock them out of the tournament.
