For the upcoming The International 2025, new entries have emerged for the Dota 2 Short Film Contest 2025. The selection includes fan-made short films created specifically for the premier Dota 2 tournament. In these videos, creators use various approaches—ranging from humorous stories to serious animated scenes.
Among the published videos, a work by the frequent contest winner 4Fun stood out. In his new short film, Dota 2 heroes engage in an epic battle: Wraith King brings Earthshaker into the fight unconscious, facing off against Anti-Mage, Lina, Dragon Knight, and Crystal Maiden. The battle features an army of skeletons and a dragon, with the climax decided by the ultimate abilities of Lina and Anti-Mage, which halt Wraith King.
The International 2025 will take place from September 4 to 14 and will be the year's main event for Dota 2. The championship's starting prize pool is $1,600,000, which will increase through in-game purchases. The tournament traditionally gathers the best teams from around the world and remains the most prestigious competition in the discipline.
