Impact candidly admitted that the past few months have been challenging for him. According to him, he lost motivation, didn't enjoy playing, and decided to take a break to rethink his career:

I've been playing for 13 years, which is almost 20% of my life. This year, I feel like I've lost my passion. I think I should take a month or two off to figure out what I want next. Maybe I'll come back, and then we'll win again.   

The player also noted that breaking up with his girlfriend and instability within the team affected his emotional state. Despite the difficulties, Impact thanked the fans and hinted that he might return to the scene one day.

Impact's Legacy

Impact is considered one of the most successful top laners in LCS history. His contributions helped Team Liquid set a record — three consecutive championship titles for the first time since 2019.
