On December 2, unconfirmed information appeared about Astralis reaching personal terms with a main Monte roster player — Gytis “ryu” Glušauskas. Negotiations are currently ongoing with the club itself regarding his transfer before the end of his contract, which expires on March 1. Ryu is a star of the Monte roster: his average rating over the last 15 matches is 6.4, and his overall rating stands at 6.27 out of 10. 

Previously, there was also information about Love “phzy” Smidebrant potentially joining Astralis , which we covered in another article. The club does not have much time left before its first tournament of 2025, which starts on January 13. The team will take part in the closed qualification for BLAST Bounty Winter 2026, where 8 slots out of 32 teams will be up for grabs for the lan stage.
