Mouz started BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 with a victory over paiN Gaming in the first match of Group A. Denis “ sycrone ” Nielsen's team registered a confident 2:1 triumph despite an unexpected defeat at Inferno. In the next match, the Europeans will play the winner of the Vitality -Wildcard pair, while paiN will now fight for survival in the bottom grid.
Match Progress
The Brazilians chose the first card - Nuke - but Mouz immediately set the pace in defense, winning 7 of the first 12 rounds. After the break, the team from Europe won the second pistol and almost without any problems finished the game - 13:9. The leaders were xertioN and torzsi , who finished the map with 20 frags each.
On Inferno, paiN took the lead. Despite the low winrate on this map, the Brazilians impressed with their aggressive attack and competent point closure. dgt played a great map, and nqz helped to realize several key moments - 13:11 in favor of paiN.
However, it all came down to Dust2, where Mouz left no chance. 13:0 - a complete defeat and total control of every element of the game. torzsi scored 15 kills and 106.5 ADR on the last map and deservedly became the MVP of the match.
dgt is a ray of hope for paiN
In his debut match, dgt showed that he can become a key player in the new version of paiN. His rating on Nuke and Inferno showed that he is already adapting to the new team. Together with nqz , they had several bright moments, which allowed the player to become the EVP of the match.
Mouz is already in the final of the top bracket of Group A, where they will meet Vitality or Wildcard. paiN dropped to the bottom bracket, where they will fight for a chance to reach the playoffs.
BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 will take place from April 30 to May 4. The entire tournament will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, at the BLAST studio. Participants are competing for a prize pool of $350,000.
