All Results of Esports World Cup 2025 Closed Qualifiers

In June 2025, the closed qualifiers for the Esports World Cup 2025 in Dota 2 began. Teams from six regions are competing for spots in the main summer tournament, which will take place from July 7 to July 19 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Each region has only one slot allocated for the championship.

Western Europe
AVULUS secured a spot in the grand final by defeating MOUZ with a score of 2:1 in the upper bracket final. In the lower bracket, NAVI Junior claimed victories over 1win Team (2:1) and MOUZ (2:0), earning a ticket to the decisive match. In the grand final, NAVI Junior defeated AVULUS with a score of 3:1 and secured a slot at the Esports World Cup 2025.

North America
Shopify Rebellion confidently advanced to the grand final by defeating Wildcard with a score of 2:0 in the upper bracket final. In the lower bracket, Yoru Ryodan defeated 9z Team (2:0), but then lost to Wildcard with a score of 0:2 in the lower bracket final. In the decisive match, Shopify Rebellion faced Wildcard again and won with a score of 3:0, securing a slot at the Esports World Cup 2025.

Middle East, South Asia, and Africa
Virtus.Pro won the grand final of the qualifiers with a score of 3:1 against Nigma Galaxy , having previously defeated them in the upper bracket final, ensuring their place in the decisive match without a single loss. Nigma Galaxy , after losing to Virtus.Pro in the upper bracket, went through the lower bracket by defeating Team Secret 2:0 but couldn't take revenge in the final.

Southeast Asia
Execration won the grand final of the qualifiers with a score of 3:1 against BOOM Esports , taking revenge for their loss in the upper bracket where they were defeated 1:2. Before that, the team confidently went through the lower bracket, defeating Tech Free Gaming with a score of 2:0, securing a second chance in the decisive match.

Eastern Europe
Cyber Goose secured their place in the grand final by defeating Natus Vincere with a score of 2:0 in the upper bracket final. In the lower bracket, NAVI claimed victories over Runa Team (2:1) and advanced to the decisive match. In the grand final, Cyber Goose once again proved stronger with a score of 3:0, securing a slot at the Esports World Cup 2025.

South America
Heroic secured their place in the grand final by defeating OG.LATAM with a score of 2:0 in the upper bracket final. In the lower bracket, OG.LATAM claimed victories over Team Sin Compromiso (2:0) and advanced to the decisive match once again. In the grand final, Heroic confidently defeated OG.LATAM with a score of 3:0, securing a slot at the Esports World Cup 2025.

The closed qualifiers mark the final stage of selection for the Esports World Cup 2025 in Dota 2. In each of the six regions, teams are fighting for the sole ticket to the tournament in Riyadh.
