On August 8, 2025, Valve released a micro patch for the Dota 2 update 7.39d, focusing on fixing numerous bugs affecting heroes, items, and game mechanics.

One of the key innovations was a change to the ping system: now, using the Ctrl+Alt combination for enemy abilities or items will indicate that they might be on cooldown. Additionally, an annoying bug with quickbuy was fixed, where players could endlessly purchase stacked items if they had the gold and stock in the shop.

Incorrect parry interaction in Kez Echo Slash.
Lycan's Wolf Bite could be cast on allies with help disabled.
