Offlaner Team Spirit Magomed " Collapse " Khalilov shared insights in an interview with BLAST about preparing for The International 2025, his role in the team, and the main challenges of the tournament.

According to the player, the past year for Spirit was inconsistent:

Our year was somewhere in the middle: not too bad, but not perfect either. We only won two tournaments — EWC 2025 and DreamLeague Season 25. The victory in Riyadh was important, but there's always room to grow.

Collapse emphasized that his performance largely determines the team's success:

If I'm in form, the team plays at its best. Confidence flows from me to the guys, and then we can beat anyone. But if I falter, it drags us down. This is both the strength and weakness of Team Spirit .

Regarding the current competition, he said:

Right now, no one is unbeatable. At the top, there's Liquid, Tundra, PARIVISION , BetBoom, and us. Anyone can win at any tournament. This makes this year and TI14 especially interesting.

Collapse considers 33 his main rival:

I don't hate him, but we're in the same boat. We've both won the Aegis twice and both want a third. In my view, he's the main competitor.
The player also noted difficulties against certain teams:

PARIVISION is always a special opponent for us. We often face challenges in matches against them.

On his evolution as an offlaner, Collapse said:

I try to be flexible. I used to struggle even with heroes like Brewmaster, but now I can win with them. At one point, I played 13 different heroes in a series, almost a new one every match. This flexibility makes me stronger.

He also commented on potential changes in the 7.39d patch meta:

Almost all heroes are balanced right now, but I think Necrophos might make a comeback in the pro scene. He's been getting buffs since February, and it seems his time has come.

Finally, Collapse was clear about his goal for TI14:

Winning a third Aegis is the pinnacle. No one has done it yet. I want to go down in history as the first. After that, we'll see — maybe I'll continue playing for fun, or maybe I'll consider retiring.
