Top Esports and Ninjas in Pyjamas Advance to Knockout Stage at LPL 2026 Split 1

Time: 2026-02-09 16:30 (UTC)

On February 9th, the Knight Rivals stage of LPL 2026 Split 1 delivered two intense best-of-five clashes.

After hard-fought series,  Top Esports  and  Ninjas in Pyjamas  emerged victorious, securing their spots in the Knockout Stage of the tournament.

Match Results of the Day

Top Esports vs Team WE — 3:2

Top Esports survived a dramatic five-game battle against  Team WE , edging out a 3:2 victory after nearly three hours of play. The series was a back-and-forth affair, with both sides trading momentum across the maps. Team WE struck first with a high-tempo opener, but TES responded immediately through strong mid-lane performances from  Creme  and consistent teamfighting led by  JiaQi . WE regained control in Game 4 thanks to decisive engages from  About  and  Karis , forcing a final map.

In the decider, Top Esports showcased superior objective control and late-game coordination. A crucial Baron fight around the 30-minute mark allowed TES to break the base and close the series 23–16, completing the reverse momentum and punching their ticket to the Knockout Stage.

Ninjas in Pyjamas vs Invictus Gaming — 3:1

Ninjas in Pyjamas delivered a commanding performance against Invictus Gaming, winning the series 3:1. After a narrow loss in Game 1, NIP adapted quickly and dominated the remainder of the matchup.  Assum  and  Care  were the driving forces behind NIP’s success, consistently outperforming their counterparts in skirmishes and objective setups. IG struggled to find answers, with only rookie showing flashes of resistance.

Games 2 and 3 were particularly one-sided, as NIP snowballed early leads into uncontested dragons and clean Baron executions. The final map ended 14–4 in kills, sealing a confident series win and confirming Ninjas in Pyjamas as the second team to advance from the day.

Matches of the Next Game Day

The action continues on February 10th, when  ThunderTalk Gaming  will face  LNG Esports  in the opening series of the day, followed by a clash between  EDward Gaming  and  Oh My God . Both matchups will play a key role in shaping the standings as teams fight for survival and a chance to progress further in the LPL 2026 Split 1 bracket.

The LPL 2026 Split 1 is taking place in China , offering a prize pool of $230,072. The top two teams from the tournament will represent the Chinese region at the international event, First Stand 2026.
