In May 2024, HEROIC decided to enter the VALORANT ecosystem — not through the main competitive circuit, but by joining the Game Changers scene. They signed the NEON Blade roster, which at the time was a regular contender in the Game Changers EMEA region.
Over the course of a year, HEROIC Valkyries competed in four Game Changers stages, reaching the playoffs in three of them. However, the team never managed to qualify for the VALORANT Game Changers Championship, nor came particularly close during either season.
Today we announce the departure of our VALORANT Game Changers roster, the HEROIC Valkyries. It hasn’t been an easy decision, but we would like to thank the squad for all of the work they’ve put into the project since its formation, and we wish them all of the best in their future endeavours!
HEROIC's statement
VCT 2025: Game Changers EMEA Stage 2 turned out to be the final tournament for HEROIC Valkyries — and the only one of the four where they failed to reach playoffs, finishing the group stage with just one win out of nine matches. Such a performance, combined with stagnation within the Game Changers scene, may have played a key role in the organization’s decision to step away.
The HEROIC Valkyries roster was as follows:
Nadia "adora" Sasnauskaite
Cecilie "Cille" Kallio Ahlquist Lauritsen
Lola "fluxxy" Ainslie
İlayda "Lyda" Güzeldere
Eylül Sudem "miyori" Sarıoğlu
