The organizers of the Asian Champions League 2025 have announced the names of three out of six invited teams for the VALORANT tournament. In other disciplines, this event serves as the Asian qualifier for the Esports World Cup 2025.

Three Asian clubs — DRX , Paper Rex , and ZETA DIVISION — have received direct invitations to the tournament. Three more teams are expected to join from China. There are few details about the competition so far: it is known only that it will take place from May 14 to 18 in Shanghai, China, and the prize pool will amount to 160,000 USD. Earlier, media reports indicated that the tournament would be part of the qualification process for the Esports World Cup 2025 in VALORANT, but there is no official confirmation at this time.

The Asian Champions League 2025 will feature several tournaments across different disciplines — nine in total. The most popular among them are CS2, Dota 2, League of Legends, and VALORANT. For CS2, Dota 2, CrossFire, and Street Fighter 6, qualification slots for EWC 2025 have already been confirmed. It is highly likely that a similar system will apply to VALORANT as well, but an official announcement is still awaited.
