Team Liquid defeated BBL Esports 2:1 on maps (Ascent 13:10, Sunset 10:13, Bind 14:12) in the upper bracket final of VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2.

The victory secured Team Liquid at least second place in the tournament and a direct slot at the upcoming Champions 2025, while BBL Esports dropped to the lower bracket and will face the winner of Navi vs. GIANTX in the lower bracket final, with the second direct invite to the World Championship on the line. Thanks to Team Liquid ’s defeat, Team Heretics secured their spot at Champions 2025 through EMEA points, leaving one final slot to be decided in the lower bracket final.

VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2 takes place from July 16 to September 1 in Germany . The tournament features 12 regional teams competing for a $250,000 prize pool and two slots at Champions 2025.
