Valve has introduced the March update of the Valve Regional Standings (VRS), which will determine invitations to several important CS2 tournaments, including BLAST Rivals Season 1, PGL Astana, CCT Global Finals, and MESA Nomadic Masters. The organizers of these events will use the updated ranking to distribute invites.

Compared to the February update, Liquid has dropped five positions, landing in 15th place due to a slow start to the season. Meanwhile, Astralis has climbed into the top 10 after a strong performance at PGL Cluj-Napoca and has widened the gap from pain , which holds the 11th spot in the ranking. The most significant progress was shown by BLUEJAYS , breaking into the top 30 of the global ranking and the top 8 in their region after winning the lan tournament Fragadelphia x Block 2025.

Distribution of invites for upcoming tournaments:

BLAST Rivals Season 1 – 4 spots via Global VRS + 1 wildcard invite for NA, EU, SA, and Asia.
PGL Astana – 12 spots via Global VRS, 1 spot each for North America, Europe , South America, and Asia.
CCT Global Finals – 6 spots via Europe VRS, 1 spot via NA VRS, 1 spot via SA VRS.
MESA Nomadic Masters – 2 spots via Europe VRS and Asia VRS, 2 via European qualifiers, 1 via Asian qualifier, 1 via MESA League Season 4.
It is worth noting that PGL Astana concludes just one day before the start of IEM Dallas, so teams planning to participate in the American tournament are likely to decline invites to PGL Astana. In such cases, invitations will be passed on to the next teams in the ranking.
