BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 gave CS2 fans five days of intense matches, sensational results, and powerful individual performances.
One of the key factors for the team's success was the snipers - players who changed the course of the game, won clutches, and kept control of the most important positions with AWPs. In this selection, we've compiled the top five snipers of the tournament based on a combination of statistics, impact on matches, and their teams' tournament results.
5. broky ( FaZe Clan )
Team result: 5th-6th place
Main weapon: AWP (0.285 kills/round)
ADR: 72.80
AWP Damage: 26.15
K/D: 0.74
Despite the fact that FaZe ended their playoff run in the quarterfinals, broky once again proved why he is considered one of the most consistent snipers in the world. Although his game against Falcons did not bring victory to the team, he repeatedly kept FaZe afloat, stopping the opponent's attacks in solo, taking control of the retakes. The tournament statistics only confirm that even in lost matches, broky remains dangerous.
4. phzy (Wildcard)
The team's result: 5th-6th place
Main weapon: AWP (0.304 kills/round)
AWP Damage: 25.77
ADR: 71.93
K/D: 0.71
The unexpectedly strong performance from Wildcard was largely due to the stability of phzy . The Swedish sniper read his opponents perfectly, especially on Mirage, where his openings brought a numerical advantage in every second round. He led the team, and although he failed to reach the semifinals, he definitely earned a place among the top five.
3. torzsi ( Mouz )
Team result: 3-4 place
Main weapon: AWP (0.309 kills/round)
AWP Damage: 26.54
ADR: 71.27
K/D: 0.76
The traditionally effective torzsi showed the full depth of his arsenal against FaZe and Falcons . In the match against the latter, he managed to make a series of multi-kills that kept Mouz in the game on Dust2. His accuracy, dynamics, and speed of decision-making were decisive in key moments. torzsi saved his team more than once, stopping the opponent's exits at the most crucial moments.
2. m0NESY ( Falcons )
The result of the team: 2nd place
Main weapon: AWP (0.395 kills/round)
AWP Damage: 34.08
ADR: 82.42
K/D: 0.85
m0NESY and Falcons went all the way to the grand finals, showing confidence and aggression on every map. His best moments included a series of eliminations against Mouz in the semifinals, a confident mid-range cover on Dust2, and a clutch against Vitality in the final, where only a few millimeters separated him from an epic comeback. His 82.42 ADR and almost 40% kill rate with AWP are on par with the best players in the world.
1. sh1ro ( Spirit )
Team result: 3-4th place
Main weapon: AWP (0.408 kills/round)
AWP Damage: 37.47
ADR: 84.81
K/D: 0.86
The most effective sniper of the tournament. sh1ro had an extremely consistent tournament, becoming the main driving force behind Spirit at all stages. His dominance in the match against FlyQuest and his ruthless punishment for Falcons ' mistakes made him the most feared AWP player of the tournament. He not only had the highest AWP Damage (37.47), but also the best kill/death ratio among snipers. When he's on form, the team just needs to survive, and he'll do the rest.
sh1ro was the most effective sniper in the tournament across all key metrics, but competition from m0NESY , torzsi , and phzy proves that the role of AWP in CS2 has only increased, and the explosiveness of new generation players is dictating a new era in sniper aim.
