s1mple: “I will find a new home by the end of the year because I want to play”

Time: 2025-07-07 07:35 (UTC)

Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev is serious about returning to the professional CS2 scene on a permanent basis. In a new video blog by FaZe Clan with BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, the Ukrainian star sniper made it clear: the break is over, and even if FaZe does not buy out his contract and NAVI does not return him to the main roster, he still plans to find a new team.

I will find a new home by the end of the year. Even if FaZe doesn't buy me out, even if NAVI doesn't bring me back to the roster — I will still find a home because I want to play

As a reminder, s1mple was invited to join FaZe at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 as a temporary replacement for broky , who was sent to the bench. Before the start of the tournament, FaZe managed to hold a boot camp and were able to show a fairly good result by reaching the playoffs of the tournament. s1mple, in turn, put a lot of effort into achieving this result and showed that he still has what it takes.

The return of s1mple is only a matter of time
In a global context, such a statement by s1mple indicates his complete readiness to return to the game in full force. Whether it will be FaZe remains to be seen. But if the club is unable or unwilling to buy out his contract, opportunities on the transfer market are still open. And although NAVI formally owns the rights to the player, their decision to keep the new lineup, which has already adapted to the season, does not leave much room for s1mple's comeback.

At the same time, big clubs like Liquid, Astralis , or G2 could become potential transfer contenders if they update their rosters after the summer.

S1mple has made it clear that he no longer wants to stay away from the scene. His message is simple: “I'll find a home anyway.” And if one of the top clubs bets on his experience in the coming months, it could be the biggest transfer of 2025.
