FaZe Bid Farewell to EliGE

Time: 2025-09-25 14:00 (UTC)

FaZe Clan  has officially announced their separation from Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski, who had been benched in recent months.

This event drew significant attention as EliGE joined FaZe at the beginning of 2025 and was a prominent player, but his month outside the main roster marked the final stage before leaving the organization.

A History of Successes and Failures

EliGE joined FaZe in January 2025, transitioning from Complexity, where he was one of the leaders. His arrival on the team was met with enthusiasm; however, the team failed to achieve major victories during the season. The best achievement was third place at the PGL Bucharest 2025 tournament — one of the most prestigious in the CS2 calendar. Despite EliGE's efforts, the team did not rise above the top 8 in other major competitions, including the BLAST Austin Major.

Details of the Departure and Tournament Results

By mutual agreement in August 2025, FaZe announced EliGE's removal from the main lineup, keeping him in the club to consider further options. Jonathan's spot in the roster was taken by young Polish player Jakub "jcobbb" Petrushevsky, whom the club acquired from Betclic.

Current FaZe roster:

  • Håvard "rain" Nygaard
  • Helvijs "broky" Saukants
  • Finn "karrigan" Andersen
  • David "frozen" Černanský
  • Jakub "jcobbb" Petrushevsky
  • Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken

A farewell quote from FaZe reflects respect and best wishes for the player:

Today we say goodbye and thank EliGE❤️ We appreciate how you represented FaZe in the game and wish you all the best in the future. See you on the server!

FaZe Clan

This move marks a phase of rebuilding in FaZe Clan aimed at refreshing the lineup and attempting to bring the team back to the top of the CS2 scene. The departure of a notable player like EliGE indicates FaZe's serious intentions to change strategy and approach.
