ESL Pro League Season 20 playoff bracket set

ESL Pro League Season 20 has hit playoffs after nearly two weeks of group stage action, which culminated with the league's back-to-back reigning champions,  Mouz , getting eliminated and  FURIA Esports  locking in the final spot in the 16-team single-elimination bracket.

Teams were drawn from four separate pools and placed in the playoff bracket by tournament referees live on the broadcast, ensuring the draw from each pool was random and not rigged in any party's favor.

The four teams who advanced undefeated from the group stage received byes to the quarter-finals and were randomly drawn into their sides of the bracket, runner-ups were placed into the second round of playoffs, and those who advanced from the lower bracket of their groups were matched against teams from the last chance stages.

The overwhelming sentiment among players and the staff of organizations who watched the draw live was that Complexity ended up with the roughest draw as FaZe awaits in their opening match, followed by Liquid and G2 in the next two rounds.

That same side of the bracket also features  Spirit  and  Natus Vincere , with the former taking on  FURIA Esports  in their opening game while the latter await in the quarter-finals ahead of  Imperial .

IEM Cologne champions  Vitality  are clear favorites on their end of the bracket, with their closest-ranked opposition being a somewhat rejuvenated  Eternal Fire  and a struggling  Virtus.pro .

The Turkish team starts from the second round of playoffs and could face  Vitality  in the quarter-finals if they beat the winner of  BIG  vs.  The MongolZ .  Virtus.pro , meanwhile, start from the opening round against  Heroic  and can't face  Vitality  earlier than the semis due to the surprise of the group stage, an undefeated  M80  in firey form with Mason "⁠Lake⁠" Sanderson, standing in the way.
