On the fourth day of PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025, intense matches took place, resulting in one team's exit from the tournament. Astralis defeated MIBR in a dramatic clash, sending the Brazilians home. In another match, Eternal Fire claimed victory over 3DMAX , securing their spot in the tournament playoffs.
3DMAX vs Eternal Fire
The first map of the match was Anubis, where Eternal Fire performed as always well and managed to take 6 rounds on defense. In the second half, they managed to secure 7 rounds, while 3DMAX took only four. The second map was Inferno, where 3DMAX showed their strength. They won the first half 8:4 and the second 5:1, comfortably finishing the map 13:5.
The third was Nuke, where the game was close, and thanks to winning key rounds, 3DMAX took the first half with a narrow margin of 7:5. In the second half, Eternal Fire managed to get back into the game and finished it in regulation time with a minimal margin of 13:11.
Astralis vs MIBR
The first map was Mirage, chosen by MIBR . In the first half, Astralis managed to take 8 rounds on defense, but in the second half, things didn’t go well for them, and MIBR pushed the game to overtime. The overtime was lengthy, and the teams played a new game, with Astralis ultimately managing to claim victory with a score of 25:22.
The second map was Inferno, the pick of Astralis . However, MIBR performed excellently on defense, conceding only 5 rounds in the first half. In the second half, Astralis fought back and pushed the game to overtime, where MIBR emerged stronger, winning 16:13. The decisive map was Nuke, where Astralis dominated from the beginning, winning the first half 8:4. After switching sides, the Danes gave no chances to their opponents, taking 5 rounds and finishing the map with a score of 13:5
PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 will take place from February 14 to 23 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Sixteen teams are participating in the tournament with a prize pool of $1,250,000.
