The start of Group B at the BLAST Open  London  2025: Closed Qualifier was somewhat predictable. By the end of the day:  Mouz , G2,  Spirit , and  FURIA Esports  have advanced to the upper bracket semifinals and are now one step away from reaching the  lan  stage. The losing teams,  Imperial , Liquid, FlyQuest, and  Legacy , drop to the lower bracket and are one step away from elimination.
 Mouz  vs.  Imperial 
 Mouz  secured a hard-fought victory over  Imperial  with a score of 2:1.  Imperial  confidently started the series on their map choice, Overpass, with a 13:2 score. However,  Mouz  turned the tables: they equalized on Mirage (13:4) and then sealed the deal on Nuke (13:7).
The MVP of the match was Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás. He achieved 41 kills with 31 deaths, showcased an ADR of 82, and finished the series with a rating of 7.0. 
G2 vs. Liquid
G2 confidently defeated  Team Liquid  in the upper bracket quarterfinals with a 2:0 score. They started with a solid performance on Train (13:8), and on Inferno, they secured a decisive victory — 13:3.
The MVP of the match was Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa. He finished the match with 35 kills and 28 deaths, and his ADR was 100. 
 Spirit  vs. FlyQuest
 Spirit  claimed a confident victory with a 2:0 score. The first map was Mirage, where  Spirit  won 13:4 without much trouble. On Dust2, chosen by FlyQuest,  Spirit  also looked stronger and closed the map with a 13:5 score.
The best player of the match was Daniil "donk" Kryshkovets. He finished the match with 48 kills and 18 deaths, and his ADR was 126. 
 FURIA Esports  vs.  Legacy 
 FURIA Esports  defeated the second Brazilian team,  Legacy , with a 2:1 score. The first map, Inferno, ended with  FURIA Esports  winning 13:7, and  Legacy  managed to take revenge on Nuke 6:13. Everything was decided on Mirage, where  FURIA Esports  easily prevailed — 13:5.
The best player was Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato. Across three maps, he secured 41 kills with 21 deaths, and his ADR was 79.2 units.
Conclusions and Upcoming Matches
The victories of  Mouz , G2,  Spirit , and  FURIA Esports  advance them to the upper bracket semifinals of Group B, where they will face each other. Meanwhile,  Imperial , Liquid, FlyQuest, and  Legacy  have dropped to the lower bracket, where they will fight for survival.
The BLAST Open Fall 2025: Closed Qualifier takes place from August 27 to September 1 online. The top six teams from the qualifier will advance to the  lan  playoffs, which will be held at OVO Arena Wembley.
