Since entering CS last year, M80 has been one of the popular teams to qualify for the Major, coming just one step away in the Copenhagen Major Americas RMR, failing to defeat

Q: It's unfortunate that after a very intense match with FURIA, you were eliminated. How are you feeling right now?
A: My heart hurts at this moment. For us, the match is over, and the dream of the Major is over; we have to go home. I really enjoyed my time here, and it makes me sad, but we just couldn't make it to the Major.
Q: What do you think went wrong today? Or did you just draw a tough opponent?
A: FURIA is clearly a great team, but we know how to compete against strong teams. I think we perform better against better teams. But ultimately, our coordination and level were not as stable as we hoped.
Overall, we showed our strength. We performed excellently on the attacking side of Anubis, which is a good example; I believe we can show our true strength against strong teams. But on the defensive side, we still have some shortcomings. You could say we were toyed with by our opponents instead of focusing on playing our game.
Q: What positive things can you take away from this match? You were so close to qualifying for the Major. Did you gain anything positive as a team?
A: There are some gains. The first match was not smooth; we lost to a worse team. I don't mean to offend them (
The decisive match against
Q: Did losing to BOSS in the opening match disrupt your tournament plans to some extent? Because your Bucholz score was low, you ended up only playing against Complexity and FURIA?
A: Of course, especially under this system. I'm not very familiar with Bucholz, but overall, losing to a weaker team is why we had to fight for seventh place. We needed to show our teeth in the first match of the tournament, but unfortunately, we couldn't do that. Also, Vertigo is a map we performed well on during training, but our performance on that map was not stable enough. It was definitely frustrating, especially losing the first match.
Q: The opening match was BO1; was that one of the influencing factors? How do you feel about using BO1 in such an important tournament?
A: I prefer BO3; I think great teams always stand out. For me, the start of this tournament felt a bit strange; I had issues with my SSD. Although I discovered and resolved it before the match, it still made me a bit unsettled and down, like a chain reaction.
When the captain's voice is low, others can get a bit nervous. Also, we are competing in different countries, which is a bit different. As for the schedule... I don't care much because everyone is in the same boat. MR12 is very tough; we lost two pistol rounds in this match, so overall, it was a difficult map.
Q: What does the team plan to do next? Rest and prepare for 2025?
A: Yes, I think we have nothing on our schedule right now. I will go home; I haven't been home since the summer break, so I will definitely enjoy it. But overall, looking back at these matches, especially for me personally, this was my first RMR as a captain, so I can improve in many areas. I just want to keep progressing, and the next season will be very important. New tournaments, a lot of matches, new systems; a lot of things will happen. We can only look forward to it. That's the charm of CS; there will always be new tournaments.
