Valve has postponed the conclusion of Crownfall and is distributing special rewards to players

Time: 2025-01-16 06:22 (UTC)

Valve has announced that they will be extending the Crownfall event in Dota 2 until February 6, as opposed to the previous date of January 15, which was the original cut off date. There’s also a new feature developers have added which is called the reward video plus offer enabled.

This was posted on the Dota 2 official page.

“But if we believe what we’re hearing from relatives, fans, colleagues, bus drivers, and even some pets online, it turns out lots of people do need extra time. That’s why for the last time (this time for real) we decide to shift the end date of Crownfall to Thursday February 6. For those that have yet to make progress, please move fast as we are sure that this curtain will fall.”

Valve made sure to note that this will be the last extension for this event. It was done to accommodate player requests to have a little more time to be able to participate in the event and unlock its rewards.

Furthermore there are also two pixel decorations now available for use, Dragonus and Chen ’s basic versions wherein at the end display of Dota2, the credits were visible and showed those whom contributed towards Crownfall’s success. To do this, simply click on the Credits button in the Dota 2 menu.

Earlier Valve might have indicated that it could be working on a new event in the game.
