Rex Regum Qeon qualifies for Esports World Cup 2025 from the Pacific region

Rex Regum Qeon has qualified for the Esports World Cup 2025 in VALORANT, defeating Paper Rex in the lower bracket final of VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 1 with a score of 3:2 (Fracture 2:13, Split 14:12, Pearl 14:12, Icebox 3:13, Ascent 13:6). In addition, the team has advanced to the grand final, where they will face Gen.G Esports for 5 additional Pacific points.

Two players stood out as the stars of the match: Forsaken from Paper Rex , who racked up 94 kills and posted an impressive 252 ACS, and Jempik from Rex Regum Qeon , who earned the MVP title for the match with 94 kills and a 261 ACS. You can find the detailed match statistics at this link.

Paper Rex and Rex Regum Qeon were battling not only for a spot at EWC 2025 but also for a place in the Pacific Stage 1 grand final, where Gen.G Esports was already waiting. Although all EWC slots have been secured, the teams will still compete for extra Pacific points — as rankings will be used to determine invites to Champions 2025. The grand final of VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 1 will take place on May 11 between Gen.G Esports and Rex Regum Qeon . Paper Rex , on the other hand, are out of the tournament, finishing in 3rd place and securing a spot at Masters Toronto along with two additional points.

VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 1 takes place from March 22 to May 11 in seoul at the Sangam Colosseum. Twelve partner teams from the Pacific region are competing for three invitations to the Masters Toronto and two to Esports World Cup 2025, as well as Pacific points needed to qualify for the World Championships.
