French organization Gentle Mates has officially signed Yusuf Emre "Proxh" Tunc, who will compete with the team in VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2. The announcement was made on the club’s official X (formerly Twitter) page.

Yusuf Emre "Proxh" Tunc previously played for Gentle Mates on loan during the European qualifiers for EWC 2025, appearing in four matches. The team secured two wins—against Team Vitality and MKOI—and suffered two losses, both against NAVI. Despite being his first Tier-1 stage appearances, Proxh delivered a solid individual performance across all matches. This showing earned him another opportunity to prove himself, this time on the big stage at VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2, where qualification spots for the year’s biggest event — Champions 2025 — will be up for grabs.

The exact start date for VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2 has yet to be announced, but the tournament is expected to begin in July 2025. All 12 franchised league teams will participate, competing for two direct slots to Champions 2025, a share of the $250,000 prize pool, and EMEA circuit points, which will determine two additional World Championship spots.
